About the teams✨*
You will be part of one of the teams below:

• Frontend Infrastructure team: this team works on enabling other teams to be effective in web and mobile development by continuously improving our frontend infrastructure. The team has two core purposes. First, building out and maintaining an accessible, reusable design system and component library. Second, creating a frictionless mobile build and release process.

- Motion team: this team works on improving and deploying new features for the Spare Engine - our matching and routing algorithms. The Motion Team applies state-of-the-art optimization algorithms to solve NP-hard problems many times per minute, combining this with custom application logic to ensure that the decisions made by our system are intuitive to our end users.

• Open team: this team works on making Spare’s products more extensible and flexible by maintaining our Open API and Apps Marketplace. The team maintains apps built internally by Spare and also works closely with customers and external developers to enable them to build new apps and extend the functionality provided by Spare in novel ways.
• Spacebus team: this team works on all aspects of our Launch and Analyze modules in our Platform, including web components, administrator access, payments, and integrations. Spacebus works closely with Product and Frontend Infrastructure team to deliver customers with daily platform updates and a delightful user interface.

About you ✨

• You have experience either as a frontend or fullstack software engineer (4+ years preferred);
• You have interest or experience working with a stack similar to ours (we work with Node.js, TypeScript, React, React Native, Expo, Cypress, CircleCI, Docker, Kubernetes, GCP and more);
• You have worked in a company that is tech-focused (better yet if you got to grow in a company like that);

Remotely or in-office, up to you!
We have a home office allowance for all full-time permanent employees. Our HQ is in Vancouver, but if you are outside Metro-Vancouver, we also have a monthly co-working stipend.
